A sale of a vessel ordered by an admiralty court. 2 Am J2d Adm § 101. A sale ordered and made in an action for the partition of real estate, where a division of the land into shares according to the several interests of the parties cannot be done equitably, such sale to be made for the best possible price and the proceeds divided in accord with the several interests.
