labor relations acts
The statutes, state and federal, which purport to regulate the relation between capital and labor for the purpose of avoiding industrial disputes and strikes. The National Labor Relations Act, known as the Wagner Act, of 1935 and the Labor-Management Relations Act of 1947, known as the Taft-Hartley Act, amending the Act of 1935, such statutes being codified as Chapter 7, Labor Management Relations, of Title 29 of the United States Code.
