In the usual sense of the term a labor union. In a less precise sense, an organization in which employees participate. Di Georgio Fruit Corp. v NLRB, 89 App DC 155, 191 F2d 642, 28 ALR2d 377. An organization of any kind, or any agency or employee representation committee or plan, in which employees participate and which exists for the purpose, in whole or in part, of dealing with employers concerning grievances, labor disputes, wages, rates of pay, hours of employment, or conditions of work. 29 USC § 152(5). Spontaneous or informal activity of employees as that of "labor organization" within protection of National Labor Relations Act. Anno: 19 ALR2d 566.
