A sale of personal property in which the purchase price is payable in instalments. 47 Am J1st Sales § 830. Usually, although not necessarily, a conditional sale in reference to the security provided by the contract for the payment of the purchase price. 47 Am J1st Sales § 830. See conditional sale.
