Haec est finalis concordia
This is the final agreement,–the formal words which usually formed the beginning or introductory part of the indentures which after being engrossed were delivered to the cognizor and cognizee, and which recited at length all of the steps in the levying of a fine at common law. See 2 Bl Comm 351. Haec quae nullius in bonis sunt, et olim fuerunt inventoris de jure naturali, jam efficiuntur principis de jure gentium. These things which are the goods of no one and which were formerly the property of the finder by natural right, now are made those of the king by the law of nations. See 1 Bl Comm 299.
