A broker who makes and concludes bargains for others in matters of money or merchandise; learns the rate of exchange, and notifies his employers. Portland v O'Neill, 1 Or 218, 219. A broker who negotiates bills of exchange drawn on foreign countries or on other places in the United States. Little Rock v Barton, 33 Ark 436, 446.
