Bering Sea Arbitration
An arbitration held under a treaty between England and the United States in 1893, the award of which was later confirmed by an act of Congress and finally settled the rights of the United States in the waters of Alaska and of Bering Sea, and all questions concerning the rights of its own citizens and subjects therein, as well as those of the citizens and subjects of other countries.
