The time between the end of one term of court and the beginning of another. Ex parte Earman, 85 Fla 297, 95 So 755, 31 ALR 1226; Conkling v Ridgely & Co. 112 Ill 36, 1 NE 261. Broadly, any considerable period of time when the court does not function, whether such is a period when the court is in recess or a period between terms. 20 Am J2d Cts § 50.
