trading partnership
A commercial partnership; a partnership organized for the purpose of trade or commerce. If the business of a partnership, according to the usual mode of conducting imports, in its nature, the necessity of buying and selling, the firm is properly regarded as a trading or commercial partnership otherwise it is nontrading or noncommercial. 40 Am J1st Partn § 12.
