scramming contract

scramming contract
A mining contract which confers the right to mine and gather such ore as may be left within the limits of a mine or pit, the same having been opened and mined before. Such a contract does not contemplate breaking through the walls of the mine or pit, and mining in a newly discovered vein of ore. Davie v Lumberman's Mining Co. 93 Mich 491, 53 NW 625.
