Rylands v Fletcher

Rylands v Fletcher
An English Case which has given its name to the principle that a person who, for his own purposes, brings on his land and collects and keeps there anything likely to do mischief if it escapes, must keep it on his own premises at his peril, and is prima facie liable for all the damage which is the natural consequence of its escape. (Eng) LR 3 HL 330.
