In good repute. Worthy of repute. The term as used in a statute authorizing the registration of any person who was a reputable resident physician of good moral character, who on the first day of July 1897 was engaged in the actual practice of medicine within the state, was construed as referring to any person who is regarded as honorable and praiseworthy as a member of the medical profession, of whatever school, or whether classed with any particular school, by any reason of the character of his work and his conduct professionally and not limited to physicians and surgeons who are graduates from some reputable medical school, or belonged to some incorporated medical society.
