repetito namio
A second or reciprocal distress, in lieu of a first one which was eloigned. Hence, it is a command to the sheriff to take other goods of the distrainor, in lieu of the distress formerly taken, and eloigned, or withheld from the owner. It is one distress taken to answer another, by way of reprisal. See 3 Bl Comm 148.
