Reconstruction Finance Corporation
A one-time federal corporate body exercising various functions in reference to loans and advances for financing projects under federal state, or municipal law and the rendering of financial assistance to business enterprises, which functions have been transferred to other federal agencies and instrumentalities. 15 USC § 601, note.
