receiver's certificate
A certificate or evidence of indebtedness, issued under order of the court by a receiver in possession of property in payment for goods or services purchased or engaged by the receiver payable out of a particular fund in the receivership, and usually constituting a first lien on the property in the receivership. 45 Am J1st Rec § 366.
