ratified

ratified
See ratification. Some confusion has arisen as to the use of the word "ratified," and as to whether ratification is a fact or a conclusion of law arising from the facts. As the term is applied to principal and agent it is a fact and not a legal conclusion, but when it is used in a sense akin to estoppel, it is a conclusion of law.
