Queen Anne's Bounty
The grant of Queen Anne by her royal charter, whereby all the revenue of first-fruits and tenths, which had anciently gone to the pope and later to the king, was vested in trustees to form a perpetual fund for the augmentation of poor livings. See 1 Bl Comm 286.
