private nuisance
A nuisance which threatens injury to one or a few persons. McFarlane v Niagara Falls, 247 NY 340, 160 NE 391, 57 ALR 1. A nuisance which violates only private rights and produces damages to one or to no more than a few persons. Riggins v District Court, 89 Utah 183, 51 P2d 645. See nuisance.
