A carrier who is neither a common carrier or a contract carrier by motor vehicle but which transports property of which it is the owner, lessee, or bailee for the purpose of sale, rent, or bailment, or in furtherance of a commercial enterprise. Interstate Commerce Com. v A. W. Stickle & Co. (DC Okla) 41 F Supp 268 (definition in § 305(a) of the Motor Vehicle Carrier Act of 1935).
