A room open to the public and equipped with tables, cues, etc. for the playing of pool or billiards, a charge being made the players by the keeper. 4 Am J2d Amuse § 24. A turf exchange; that is, a room or place where money is received, won, and lost on horse races, and where tickets for pools on horse races run, or to be run, at divers race courses, are bought, sold, and cashed.
