By the release of the right,–one of the modes in which releases operated at common law, as where a person who has been disseised releases to the disseisor, his heir or feoffee. By the release, the right which was in the releaser is added to the possession of the releasee, and the two combined perfect the estate. Miller v Emans, 19 NY 384, 387.
