part owner
One of two or more persons who own property as co-owners. Sexton v Lauman, 244 Iowa 570, 57 NW2d 200, 37 ALR2d 353. The term is not properly applied to partners, but is in common use in the law to denote a class of persons distinct from partners. Breck v Blair, 129 Mass 127, 128.
