omnibus clause
A clause in an automobile liability insurance policy, providing that the term "insured" includes the named insured and also any other person while using the automobile and any person or organization legally responsible for the use thereof, provided the actual use of the automobile is by the named insured or with his permission or consent. 7 Am J2d Auto Ins § 109.
