Navy Personnel Act
A federal statute enacted in 1899, providing primarily that commissioned officers of the line of the Navy and of the medical and pay corps should receive the same pay and allowances, except forage, as were or might be provided by or in pursuance of law for officers of corresponding rank in the Army. 36 Am J1st Mil § 69.
