navigable airspace
The air space above the minimum altitudes of flight prescribed by regulation issued under the Federal Aviation Act, including air space needed to insure safety in the takeoff and landing of aircraft. 49 USC § 1301 (24). The space above the space extending upward from the surface of land which is necessary for the full use and enjoyment of the land and the incidents of its ownership. 8 Am J2d Avi § 3.
