moving building
The operation of moving a building from one location to another, usually, but not necessarily, accomplished with the building remaining intact throughout the operation. A building may, be "removed," as a building, that is, as a standing building, intact, but that is not the only way. It may be "removed," within the common understanding, by taking the material and reconstructing, or rebuilding it at another locality. Board of Education v Townsend, 63 Ohio St 514, 59 NE 223.
