Such a matter as the probate of a will or the administration of a decedent's estate which is within the jurisdiction of a probate court. There is a "matter of probate," within the term as used in a state constitution, if the status of heirship or nonheirship, whether dependent on matters of legal or equitable cognizance, becomes material in the probate of a will or in any proceedings incident thereto.
