judicial function
A function exercised by the employment of judicial powers. People ex ref. Riordan v Hersey, 69 Colo 492, 196 P 180, 14 ALR 631, 635. Counting, weighing, and measuring are not judicial functions, they are ministerial functions. Dickering v Moore, 67 NH 533, 32 A 828. See judicial power; quasi-judicial function.
