impulsive insanity
That form of insanity by which a person is irresistibly impelled to the commission of an act, sometimes accompanied by delusions and sometimes not, sometimes apparent and sometimes concealed. Mutual Life Ins. Co. v Terry (US) 15 Wall 580, 21 L Ed 236. Otherwise known as irresistible impulse.
