dispensary act
A statute which forbids the manufacture or sale of intoxicating liquors as a beverage, within the limits of the state, by any private individual, and vests the right to manufacture and sell such liquor in the state exclusively, through certain designated officers and agents. McCullough v Brown, 41 SC 220, 19 SE 458.
