medical attendance
Attendance by a physician for the purpose of medical treatment or medical advice. 29 Am J Rev ed Ins § 756. As the term is used in a penal statute requiring a parent to furnish food, clothing, shelter, and "medical attendance" to his minor child, it means attendance by a regularly licensed physician. People v Pierson, 176 NY 201, 68 NE 243.
