Davies v Mann
A celebrated English case reported in 10 Mees & W 546, 152 Eng Reprint 588, 19 ERC 190, to which the origin of the rule of last clear chance is traced. The case is often referred to as the Donkey Case because it was a donkey which was injured by the defendant's act.
