considerable provocation

considerable provocation
A term of reference in the law only to express an element reducing a homicide from murder to manslaughter, and so elusive of accurate definition that the most that can be said is that it means "legal provocation" or "adequate provocation," such being matters for determination by the court. McClurg v Commonwealth (Ky) 36 SW 14, 15.
