Commodity Credit Corporation

Commodity Credit Corporation
An agency of the United States operating under it federal charter in supporting prices of agricultural commodities through loans, purchases, and payments; disposing of surplus agricultural commodities; promoting the marketing of agricultural commodities in both domestic and foreign markets; and procuring agricultural commodities in the country for sale to foreign governments, relief agencies, and other government agencies.
