Derived from the Greek; manipulation by hand; a drugless method of treating human ailments. It is the practice of medicine in a restricted form. Lowman v Kuecher, 246 Iowa 1227, 71 NW2d 586, 52 ALR2d 1380; the practice of medicine in the very broad aspect of the term "medicine." State v Johnson, 84 Kan 411, 114 P 390; not the practice of medicine in the more limited sense of prescribing and administering drugs. State v Gallagher, 101 Ark 593, 143 SW 98.
