capitalization
The structure of a corporation in reference to the stock and bonds issued by it; the term is often applied in corporate reorganization cases, one aspect being the fairness of the allocation of securities under a plan of reorganization, the other being the feasibility of the new capital structure. 9 Am J2d Bankr § 1590.
