To act by another who is one's agent. To "act through" a subordinate, may well by synonymous with "to vest" such subordinate with power to act. See United States v Chemical Foundation, 272 US 1, 71 L ed 131, 47 S Ct 1. actual. Something real, or actually existing, as opposed to something merely possible, presumptive, implied, or constructive.
