- The statutory lien of the keeper of a boarding house upon the goods of a boarder or lodger brought upon the premises for the former's charges against the latter for services and things furnished for the accommodation, comfort, and entertainment of the boarder or lodger, the lien sometimes being extended by statute to goods of a third person brought upon the premises by the boarder or lodger. 29 Am J Rev ed Innk §§ 145 et seq.
