banking game
A slang expression for the banking business; gambling games, such as faro or craps, in which one person takes all the bets, and the running of slot machines. 24 Am J1st Gaming, etc. § 26. Any game of chance is a banking game if it is a game wherein the chances are unequal and in favor of the exhibitor of the table. The advantages or chances in favor of the player or exhibitor of the table are not the same in each case, but in each case the chances are in his favor, and this is the distinctive characteristic of this class of gambling games.
