Yazoo Frauds Act

Yazoo Frauds Act
A Georgia statute enacted in 1795, and subsequently declared unconstitutional by the courts, which purported to authorize the sale to individuals of certain public lands, including lands which now comprise all of the state of Mississippi and half of the state of Alabama.
