through ticket
A railroad ticket which entitles the holder, not only to passage over the line of the company issuing it, but also over other connecting lines over which it is necessary to pass in order to reach his destination. A through ticket does not require the passenger to make a continuous trip over all the lines without stopping. Louisville & Nashville Railroad Co. v Klyman, 108 Tenn 304, 67 SW 472.
