- A bailment by a bailee to a third person. A delegation by a bailee to a third person to whom he delivers the property involved in his undertaking. Of course, the bailee cannot relieve himself of responsibility by subbailment, without the consent of or authorization, express or implied, by the original bailor. 8 Am J2d Bailm § 190.
