society of wife
A right of the husband known by the legal term "consortium." As the word is used in connection with a husband's right to recover damages for the loss of his wife's "society," it means such capacities for usefulness, aid, and comfort as a wife, which she possessed at the time of the injury which she suffered by the act or omission of the defendant.
