simple license
The grant of authority, without reward or consideration, to do a particular act, or series of acts, on another's land, without passing any interest or estate in the soil. Such a license is revocable at the pleasure of the licensor, but not to make the licensee responsible in trespass or otherwise for acts done on the land in pursuance of the license. Neither is it revocable where the grantee has been induced to expend his means or money towards its enjoyment, without reimbursing him for what has been thus expended. Wynn v Garland, 19 Ark 23.
