Sherrer Case
An important decision by the United States Supreme Court on the effect of a foreign judgment of divorce as res judicata on the issue of jurisdiction where the defendant, a nonresident, appeared in the action but did not contest on the issue of jurisdiction. Sherrer v Sherrer, 334 US 343, 92 L Ed 1429, 68 S Ct 1087, 1 ALR2d 1355.
