A right of an equitable nature, arising as an incident of the general jurisdiction of the court over its suitors, whereby the satisfaction of a judgment may be wholly or partly produced by compelling a judgment creditor to accept in payment a judgment to which he is subject. 30A Am J Rev ed Judgm § 1011.
