servitium forinsecum
Service which was due the king and which was foreign or aside from that due the lord of the manor. Servitium in lege Angliae, regulariter accipitur pro servitio quod per tenentes dominis suis debetur ratione feodi sui. The word "servitium" is regularly taken in the law of England to mean the service which is due their lord from the tenants by reason of their fee.
