The act of taking possession. The act of a husband in reference to his wife's property; some act on the part of the husband evidencing intent to acquire the property to the exclusion of the wife, to divest the right of the wife, and to make the property his own absolutely. 26 Am J1st H & W § 61. Changing an intangible into a tangible, as by collecting a debt.
