qualified acceptance
A conditional acceptance of an offer; an acceptance which modifies the terms of the offer. In effect, a counteroffer. 17 Am J2d Contr § 62. An acceptance of a bill of exchange which varies the effect of the bill as drawn. 11 Am J2d B & N § 515.
