All right; correct. 1 Am J2d Abbr § 7. An abbreviation frequently used in the commercial world signifying the signer's approval of the instrument on which he indorses it. The origin of the term "O.K." is obscure. While there are various explanations of the origin, none is well-grounded. It has, however, a well-defined meaning in common and commercial usage.
